Blue Carrot Cafe - 2006.06.03 -- ***

Strolling through downtown Victoria, we passed by the Bastion Square art fair, and were lured by a sign that pointed to "The Best Soup in Town". Never one to miss a good soup, we hopped on over to the Blue Carrot cafe and sampled the Potato Cheddar and the Cream of Mushroom soup. If these were the best soup of Victoria, I would be quite surprised. However they were fine hearty affairs for any regular travelers, creamy, thick, consistent, flavorful (well my mushroom soup could've been more "fungal" tasting), and complete with 4 thick slices of buttered sesame bread. `
